Acceptance criteria

Because, the EP3 project submit Contractual deliverables to the European Commission for acceptance according to a defined process it is important to know what is the base for this acceptance.

The European Commission has provided quality requirements for documents to be considered acceptable. They are as follows:

  • Provide an executive summary with key objectives and results
  • Explain clearly the dependency of the document with other project deliverables, with precedence of documents
  • Provide a clear conclusion with findings, and identification of further work to be carried out and of the deliverables where this work will be documented
  • Provide a table with external references and applicable documents, including revisions where
    appropriate.

 

Then, a document owner has to use the following items to ensure that EP3 deliverable meet quality expectations:

  • The EP3 quality requirements - refer to the EP3 document checklist for more details;
  • The EP3 technical requirements specific to the type of the deliverable.

Consequently, the objective of the approval and acceptance process is to control the consistency of a deliverable with the EP3 quality requirements and the technical requirements.
